About Us Hello and thank you for visiting our vintage boutique, On The Corner!  Our online store is owned and operated by myself, Jeannie, and my husband, Todd. Some day, when our son is old enough, we’ll get him involved with our business too!  We think that you’ll really appreciate the unique blend of vintage and vintage-inspired products that we offer on our web site.  From vintage floral linens to western kitsch, from vintage-inspired children’s room decor to vintage glassware. We are your one-stop-shop for all things vintage!  Our inventory will be ever-changing and ever-evolving so check back with us often. While I’ve got you here, I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and my family...I can’t remember exactly when my love of antiques started, but I believe it was in college.  I rented an apartment that was built in the 1920’s, and I just loved the architecture and all the charm and character the buildings made in this era possessed. I started wondering who’d lived in that apartment throughout the years.  I loved that all my kitchen tile was original and that I had built-in drawers in the bathroom, all original. I loved that when the building was first made it had a space for an ice box and not a refrigerator.  I began wanting to fill my apartment with items that reflected its age. I can recall one day searching for an antique store not too far from where I lived by looking in the back of a Thomas Guide and stumbling upon Old Towne Orange, California.  It was like walking through a time warp. I was in antique heaven...Store after store of wonderful antiques.  An entire day’s outing! I’m partial to American antiques and collectibles.  Particularly those from the west.  To me, there’s something romantic about the old west.  Maybe it has something to do with my absolute love of Santa Fe.  I fill my home with items that remind me of Santa Fe and the southwest. I love the old cowboy canvas lamps and western camp blankets. They evoke a nostalgic feeling for me and I’m not sure where that comes from since I was born in the 70’s! When I realized that I wanted to love what I did for a living, I was determined to make my dream of owning my own business become reality.  I have a passion for vintage items, collecting, and decorating, and I hope that that comes through in our store. I’ve been blessed with a husband who supports my idea for our business and is an integral part in its success.  We are truly a team!
